I recently released a sequel novella to I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE titled I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE 2, and it’s a great thriller that I do believe everyone will enjoy just as much as you did the first one.

Currently, I am writing on a novel, and it’s a fiction drama because I haven’t released one of those since the release of PATON which was the third and final book of The Secret Novel Collection.

As most already know, I tend to never remain in the same genre because that’s just not my appetite. I live for variety, but I like to have a good variety of things on my plate, even when I’m eating not just writing. When I look at the stories that I’ve written in the past, I am pushed to continue writing more while increasing the spread of stories that will intrigue my readers whom I appreciate very much.

As far as what this fiction drama is about, you all know that I can’t say, but my plans are to write this one a bit slower while having it release by the end of the summer. After that, I have a few more novellas up my sleeve and a Cyan Deane novel that will hopefully release next year.  I want to write more, but I’ve built another blog at akirimpress.com which focuses on writing for authors as well as important publishing news.  I dig into a little movie blogging as well at The Tea w/ Mirika C as I’m big on a great movie.  It is blogging that keeps my mind freshly thinking of brand new ideas.  It’s almost like creative mental exercising.

This weekend, other than writing on my drama, I want to love on the dads of my life – my dad, step-dad and husband.  I pray everyone a great Father’s day, but most importantly, I want every believer to bless GOD OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN for everything HE has done for us through HIS precious SON JESUS.  Without HIM, we aren’t possible.

Continued prayers to the saints that were gunned down in Mother Emanuel AME Church of Charleston, SC.  These nine people aren’t victims.  They are victorious and won the race.  The shooter is the real victim, held captive by evil, imprisoned by his own disgust for human life, even his own, because although he is still on earth, he walks in the death of hatred…literally consumed in death.  That isn’t a life.

The people he shot walked in the life of love and are still alive because they conquered death in Jesus.  They live, and God is love.  May they live in peace now with the FATHER.  The killer lost.

When Jesus was nailed to the cross an innocent man, He said – Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.  When we look through spiritual eyes, everything is clear.  They didn’t kill Jesus.  He got up.  They destroyed themselves, so who was really the victim?  It wasn’t Jesus.  He was raised in GLORY and HONOR.  King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Even in knowing this, for future generations here on earth, we must continue to vote for proper legislation and rip apart social injustices at every turn.  Faith without works is dead.  If we DO nothing, nothing will be DONE.  This is why I plan to participate in a rally at the SC State House in favor of REMOVING a symbol of hatred and slavery from the grounds.  It is the visible manifestation of taught hatred through generations, and it should be removed because it holds high and even esteems evil.

See you with my novel soon.  Remember the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.  Death can’t hold us down, and it is definitely not the end.  Gain knowledge for without it, we perish.  #Bible
