The Movie SCARFACE Is On The Way Back…In A Remake!

by Mirika C on March 20, 2015

When I was a child, I tell you I really shouldn’t have watched this movie…but I did.  I saw a man with some serious issues and a sister whom he adored if my memory serves me correctly.  The main part I remember though is when he shoved his head in a pile of dope and then went even more bananas when he open fired after saying “Say hello to my little friend!”  The movie ended at that point for me.  I was stunned.

Well, Scarface is coming back in a remake under Universal with Jonathan Herman of Straight Outta Compton behind the writing.  A brand new generation will actually see the mobster/drug king pin flick, and hopefully, it doesn’t create a generation of followers.  Scarface, of 1983, was played by Al Pacino, and I am going out on a limb to say that this is possibly one of his most dramatic and memorable roles…ever…as Tony Montana.

If you haven’t seen this movie, do so when the kids are in a deep, deep, sleep or away at Disneyland with the grands.
