Here is one of the best explanations that I could find that explains the newly approved NET NEUTRALITY. Net neutrality basically means no favorites when it comes down to the web. See what I mean.

I believe it’s a great thing. The web is the web, and as far as the information that I have right now, I see nothing that could be so wrong about this. However, bigger companies who control everything feel like the government just messed up, and they also feel that they shouldn’t have to be handled by the government.

It is what it is. As for myself, the consumer, if I want to watch something from company not so popular A versus company very popular B, I want the same fast speed. No problems here.
